Here I am back at the very roots of this website, pirate Nintendo gear. I was once again traveling the world during the summer of 2007
and paid a visit to Mallorca for the second time, this time along with my girlfriend.
Once again I was browsing a small shopping centre in Palma city and to my surprise the very same store I had bought some pirate
gear from almost 10 years ago was still in business. Though the NES stuff wasn't really anywhere to be seen in the windows, the space
had been taken over by officially licensed Nintendo DS games and such.
But while browsing through the store I made my way to the back of the store and on a top shelf at the very bottom of the store was
no less than 3 very old and dusty NES clones sitting, waiting for some crazy Scandinavian to drop by and pick them up. however the
crazy Scandinavian decided to only buy one clone this time around as I have more than enough already. The other two clones weren't
that interesting anyway - a Gunboy and the third I've forgotten what was.
I mainly picked this one because it was released by NASA, no not the American Space Administration. I don't have a NASA clone in
my collection so it was obvious to pick this one up - also who can resist bringing home "amazing reality" games!

NASA is known for making some quite cool clones but unfortunately this one isn't much more than a generic clone which also has been released
by a lot other pirate outlets.

There are a couple of cool things about this clone though, being that it uses standard NES controller ports, meaning that the two included
"Creation Duo Turbo Controllers" as well as the pink Zapper which also is included can be used with a normal NES deck if anyone really would
want to.

Another cool thing about the clone is that it's both Famicom and NES compatible, front loader slot for NES carts and top loader slot for Famicom carts. But
besides that great feature it's also smaller than a normal NES deck - hmmm I wonder where Next Generation got the idea for their console :-)

There are however a few flaws with this console, I guess there just has to be flaws when we're dealing with pirate gear. Well in Europe we have a certain standard
when it comes to the power plug. At the picture below you see, on the left, the power supply included with the clone. On the right is a Game Gear power supply and
you can see there's a clear difference - the Game Gear one is the correct one - and it means that the clone power supply won't fit in some power sockets around
Europe.
As if that wasn't bad enough, why switch colors of the Audio/Video plugs? Video has always been yellow and Audio has always been red. This stupid mistake resulted in
me connecting the unit wrong the first time around...

The console doesn't come with any cartridge included, but like almost all clones the console has a multicart built-in. In this case there's a 10000000 in 1
built into the console, however it only contains 14 different games, but some I've never seen on a multicart before such as MAjor League Baseball and even more
surprising, Sachen's Metal Fighter game. Below is a complete list of games included.
Street Fighter 12P
Aladdins 3 (Magic Carpet)
Power Soccer (???)
Hyper Olympics (Track & Field)
Major Baseball (Major League Baseball)
Road Fighter
Star Soldier
Gotcha
Adventure Mario (Adventure Island)
Future Kid (Metal Fighter)
Circus Charlie
Jewel Tetris
Pooyan
Northern Ken
The console has some extreme graphics issues, especially when the there's something scrolling in a game, like Adventure Island. When the screen is scrolling
everything slows down to an almost halt, even the music. But other than that the clone is quite nice and with the players seal of
approval you just can't have a bad product, right? :-)
